Paras Shah (@pshah518) is a Postgraduate Fellow at Just Security and a Research Scholar at NYU School of Law. Prior to joining Just Security, Paras clerked for Judge Joshua Deahl on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and represented clients in white collar matters and government investigations at O’Melveny & Myers. Paras is pursuing a Masters in Journalism at NYU where he covers untold human stories behind the law, and is host and executive producer of the Just Security podcast. His research interests include international human rights and humanitarian law, disability rights, civil procedure, and press freedom.
Paras is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Harvard Law School where he spent two years in the International Human Rights Clinic and served as an Executive Article Editor for the Harvard Human Rights Journal. Paras is also on LinkedIn.
