Wendy Leben

Wendy Leben is a Just Security Student Staff Editor and a JD candidate at NYU School of Law, where she is a Staff Editor for Moot Court Board and a Producer/Writer/Actor/Director for Law Revue (the award-winning law-themed musical comedy troupe). She is a Summer Associate at Goodwin Procter after interning in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and NYC’s Administration for Children’s Services. She also volunteers assisting Afghan refugee applications and representing children in the foster care system. Prior to law school, Wendy served as a senior intelligence analyst in the Department of Defense for 13 years, including seven deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Denver: Physics and International Studies.
