Eugene R. Fidell is an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University. He is a former President of the National Institute of Military Justice, has edited the Global Military Justice Reform blog since founding it in 2014, and is a co-author of Military Justice: Cases and Materials (Carolina Academic Press 4th ed. 2023) (forthcoming). He served as a judge advocate in the U.S. Coast Guard.
