Madhu Narasimhan

Madhu Narasimhan is a Student Staff Editor at Just Security and a J.D. candidate at NYU School of Law, where he is also a Student Scholar at the Reiss Center on Law and Security. His background spans politics, foreign affairs, technology, and grassroots public service.

At NYU Law, Madhu is a Reiss Center Student Scholar, an IILJ Joyce Lowinson Scholar, and a Symposium Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics. During law school, he has also worked at the U.S. Department of State, the World Bank, the Brennan Center for Justice, and Gunderson Dettmer—and he currently serves as co-chair of a Democratic Congressional campaign in California.

Prior to law school, Madhu co-founded an education startup, worked at Google, and served as a Fulbright Fellow in Malaysia. He earned a B.A. from UCLA and also studied at the London School of Economics. Madhu’s writings have appeared in various publications, including Foreign Affairs and The Diplomat.
