Marzia Marastoni

Marzia Marastoni is a PhD candidate in International Law at the Graduate Institute of Geneva. She currently works as Teaching Assistant in Legal and Political Theories at the University of Geneva and as Human Rights Consultant at the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to UN in Geneva. Among others, her research focuses on human rights law and international law in times of crisis. In 2021 she published Covid-19 and Human Rights Law: A Legal and Philosophical Approach.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Philosophy from Cà Foscari University in Venice and a Master Degree in Political, Legal, and Economic Philosophy at the University of Bern. In Italy, she has been locally, regionally, and nationally involved in politics.
